This report analyzes and describes in detail an innovative game prototype that combines Zuma with third-person shooter (TPS) mechanics. The strategic design of Zuma, the same-color elimination mechanic provides the core inspiration for the project. By combining the strategic depth of Zuma with the immediacy and freedom of TPS, this project overcomes the limitations of two different gameplay styles to create a unique and accessible gameplay experience. This report will explore the core mechanics of the game prototype, design uniqueness, challenges and solutions during development, as well as an understanding of the game's fun and gameplay experience.
